A lot of interest in my walk has been generated by last Friday's article in the Cumberland News which has resulted in an increase in donations through www.justgiving.com/KensCoast2Coast and sponsorship, also something about it in Sunday Post (so I've been told).  Went for a walk today in wet and windy conditions to test out my waterproofs.  Found I needed new leggings.  Got people walking with me on day 3 and 4.  Any more volunteers on any of the stages would be gratefully accepted!
